#Nutrient In Human Body
Water: 60-70% Protein: 18% Fat: 15% Carbohydrate: 2% Mineral: 4% Vitamin: 1%

# Process of Digestion
Only water, mineral salt and some vitamin can be absorbed directly by human body. While, protein, fat and carbohydrates cannot be absorbed directly by cells. Food in the stomach needs to be mixed completely with the gastric juices through the churning movements and the mass of food mix is called the chyme. After the action of the gastric juices and enzymes, food enters the small intestine which will absorb the nutrition of the chyme again. The amylase converts most carbohydrates into the glucose and then the glucose which enters the bloodstream becomes the blood sugar and it is used by body as energy. Lipase can convert the fat into glycerol and fatty acid and it is used by body as energy as well. Protein can break down into amino acid through protease and can be used and saved as energy.

#Process of Blood-Glucose Balance
Insulin and glucagon work together to balance your blood sugar (glucose) levels. Food that contains carbohydrates is converted into glucose. Most of this glucose is sent into your bloodstream and causes a rise in blood glucose levels. At the same time, the increase in blood sugar signals your pancreas to produce insulin which tells cells throughout your body to take in glucose from your bloodstream. As the glucose moves into your cells, your blood glucose levels go down.
As for glucagon, it works to counterbalance the actions of insulin. After you eat food about four to six hours, the glucose in your blood decreases and it triggers the pancreas to produce glucagon. These cells of liver and muscle which stores the glycogen then release the glucose back into your bloodstream. The whole process with the rise and fall of insulin and glucose is constantly in motion, keeping blood sugar levels from dipping too low and it ensures that the body has a steady supply of energy.
